The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) on Kei Japanese Mini Trucks Questioned:

    1. Are these trucks clean emissions?

    2. Do these trucks have OBDII Port?

    3. Do they have Smog Equipment?

Rhino UTV like vehicles are viewed as motorcycle type engines and only need a tail pipe sniffer test for emissions check.

On road Vehicles that where manufactured primarily as an on-road vehicle that are 1996 year or newer require a smog inspection using
    an OBDII port.

The EPA currently requires restrictor plates limiting travel only up to 25mph due to possible environmental emission concerns.

Anyone have the opportunity to smog test there truck yet? I am working with the ADEQ to illustrate how these trucks are Very low emission.

I can use peoples help with info or documents that show they had a smog check.

I had my truck Smogged in Needles CA. CA is a very tough state on missions.

The truck passed the tail pipe sniffer test with flying colors but we couldn’t get the OBDII port to software link.
