I still have it in North Carolina, it's currently covered and waiting on a new engine, which I'm happy to get advice on. Stock is 550cc EB-80, but one of the mintruck dealers I talked to last week mentioned that a 660cc EF engine is physically the same dimension and interchangeable, with the exception of the water pump outlet being slightly larger. I'm in the market for either engine. I have no idea if the S/C engine has a lower compression ratio than the NA engines, but if I can make it fit the replacement engine, than I'm putting it back on. The only used engine I can find is a 660cc EFI engine on Ebay right now for $1200 after shipping... by the time I get a megasquirt / Speeduino along with a bigger fuel pump, I'm in the $16-1800 dollar range, which is a whole lot of money for a 40hp.
Hello did you get to adjust the carb? i have a 1999 towner truck that when is cold it Revs. High like 4000 rpm's and when it warms up it will not respond to any adjustment and just stalls. it runs and drives fine down the road but when coming to a stop will stall. i've had the carb replaced 2x (from ebay) . all vacuum lines and valves have been removed by the previous owner and I don't know what to do since I bought the truck without them. The distributor have two vacuum lines but I don't know if I can bypass them. The distributor have two vacuum lines and when I connect the bottom line to the Manifold I can see a change. it is driving me crazy. Thanks Erinson
I watched all his videos and he did a great job! Now I want to do my S110p, well one of them. I have 2 of them and a Carry. Bought a 300 supercharger off e-bay a couple years ago but not even started that project yet.
