Hey fella's, wanted to let everyone know that real soon here hopefully within the month we will have an intake system designed to completely replace the current air box and filter systems on the mini trucks. Lets be honest here as far as offroad use goes the intake on these trucks isnt really designed to take the abuse and then the issue of extremely overpriced air filters which are difficult for most to people to readily find unless you order it from one of us dealers or online either way being a pain in the butt. What we are currently working on will be a nearly bolt on system requiring only minor labor on the end users part to install (LESS THAN 1 HOUR). This will be a behind the cab snorkel type system which you most likely have seen numerous times on other trucks, the beauty to our system will be the fact that its tuned via flow rate to be accurate to the trucks needs.......In the beginning here the system will be available for fuel injected trucks but worry not as we are currently working to develop a carb friendly version to avoid the need to rejet due to air flow differences. Without a DYNO we can say how much difference but on our test truck the seat of the pants dyno seems fairly impressive.

We plan to have 2 designs as far as filter options go, The first being a lower profile cleaner look if you will also a bit more of a BUDGET friendly version which should come in if all goes well in the sub 200 price range, The second will be a larger permanent airbox design not unlike whats seen on tractors and other pieces of equipment and it will be fully equipped with a filter minder guage which will help keep track of filter needs. This version will be more robust and it will also be more expensive hopefully under 400 even closer to 300 were hoping but will have to wait and see.....As a teaser ill post up a pic of our "PROTOTYPE" unit which is currently undergoing further reasearch and development to ensure it functions properly. One of the very best parts of this system is not only will it greatly increase the life of your air filters but you can get replacement filters for it ANYWHERE!!!!!!

Again if all goes well these intake systems should be available for purchase within a month or so. Ill keep everyone posted.

The parts are starting to roll in for the "XTREME INTAKE" it is still a work in progress trying to work out the details of mounting and routing etc. but its coming along none the less, thought I would throw up a pic of the intake housing to give everyone a look at what the final product will likely look like.

Ok at this point the system has been tested and it works flawlessly on fuel injected trucks, no tests have yet been performed on the carb'ed trucks at this time..... Here is a couple pics of what the system looks like installed.

After more testing we are now confident that our system will work on any late model fuel injected truck as well as carb'ed diahatsu's. We have no reason to think it wont work on Carb'ed mitsubishi's but that is to this point untested.

For those that are interested in purchasing an INTAKE KIT for your truck please give us a call at 417-395-4300. The cost of this kit will be 395.00 shipped. It will come as a complete system with only minor technical installation required.

It has been tested on a Carb'ed daihatsu and it works fine, we have not installed one on a suzuki or mits carb'ed truck as of yet but im starting to feel fairly confident that there will be no issue with the system on any of the trucks.....Some of the late models and perhaps even some older trucks have air speed sensors that go right in the stock airbox...What we decided to do in these situations was to just leave the stock airbox inplace but put a gutted airfilter inside it to seal it up.....Again it works like a charm.
