Here's what a bad rear transmission mount looks like. Very simple straight forward to check and swap out if needed.
The one on left is totaled the right one is cracked and wouldnt last much longer.

I took a hard rubber roller for a boat trailer cut it to size and ran a bolt and washer through it, for the rubber tranny mount works great ...price $5.99 for one roller for both mounts:cool:

  7. So I am in the position of having to replace mine, and 14 years after the last comment, G&R no longer carries them and the cheapest I can find is over $100. So, after some brainstorming with my best friend who is a mechanic, I ordered a pair of hockey pucks off Amazon for $8 and I'll let you know how it works.

You might be able to find something like that on rockauto as well. Take some measurements and click on the info for various Suzuki/GEO/Chevy cars from the 90s and you may get lucky.

The mounts on my engine and tranny will get redone using 3M Window Weld when the time comes. They are so different no way to use hockey pucks.
