This may have been asked already, but how hard is it gonna be to fit drl s into my 92 sambar? Will I need to change the headlights entirely. Whats a good wheel tire conbo?

Here in Alberta, the DRL does not need to be the actual headlight, it can be a bright turn signal (Dodge, GMC) or an aux driving light.
I hooked a relay to the acc circuit and installed a set of driving lights and it passed that part of the inspection (the rusted cross member is what stopped the Acty from road running...... so far)

    Yup.

Relay from the ign to the headlamp: Done

I have the diagram and wire colors at the shop. PM me if you want the diagram.

    10-15 minute job.

In canada I assume? Where abouts?

you do legally have to change your headlamps to a DOT market lense. So, the Daytime running lights actually have nothing to do with the actual light, but a real inspection requires CMVSS, SAE or DOT compliant lights.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Not Can Tire! It will cost you likely big, and if your can tire is like ours, it will be done poorly as well. They will sell you a Daytime running Light module, which you dont need. Just an ordinary automotive relay and harness. (Fraction of the cost of a DRL module)

If you want it done for you, I personally suggest a 12volt specialist. (Like anywhere that installs remote starters and stereos. )

Most mechanics I know dont like wiring!

Relay is the only way to go,but then again as a mechanic I love wiring, epecially on these trucks-almost primitive.
