Guys, after building my own tie rods from rod ends from jeg's and aircraft tubing, I found tie rod ends that replace the factory ones. I ordered 2 inner and 2 outer tie rod ends for a 1969 Datsun pickup truck, and they look like they are going to be a perfect fit. I'll get them installed as soon as the rain passes. I paid $11.30 each, and the best price I could find on the factory ones was $85 each. The Datsun ends made by TRW also come with a grease fitting, so they can be lubed from time to time.
confirmed? Were these tie rods confirmed as direct cross? Also does anyone know of any other tie rod that cross references to these little trucks. Parts suppliers want more than an arm and a eg for these little tie rods. ktownminihijet
