I just (finally) got back to the UK, and I found my copy of Trebor Snetram's 'Daihatsu Hijet Owners manual 1999-2007 S210P Chassis' book waiting for me on the mat. Happy days, my garage should hopefully be equipped with the wherewithal to get my truck up to snuff for its big European adventure in the Spring! Let me know if there are any particular queries you have (within the fair usage boundaries we perhaps should respect)

 

Does anyone know of a site that has S510P Daihatsu Hijet truck workshop manual?
Do they even make workshop manuals for new S510P?
Any help would be very appreciated.

 

I've seen a service CD or DVD for sale on Yahoo Auctions - it'll be in Japanese, but that's why God gave us phones.

It's the actual maintenance manual. Much easier to come by than the older ones - I bought the paper manuals for mine in April or May, and none have come up again for sale since.

 

Did u find it on yahoo action? Was it for S510P?

Well, it looks like my memory was faulty. I was seeing copies of this DVD, which is actually a third-party video guide to doing a selected list of jobs. It's just listed as 'service/repair manual'. It still might be useful to you if you are doing things like changing cabin air filters, taking the bumper off to add a third-party custom one, changing the taillights, etc. Sorry about that - I couldn't find any other s5xx stuff; the latest CD manuals were for the S2xx series. Even Google wasn't much help.
