I just purchased a 96 Suzuki Every Joypop Turbo and was looking through some pictures and noticed these items on the dash. Can anyone tell me what they are? Depending on what it is, i will remove them when the car arrives. Also, the pictures of the motor look clean, however it looks like someone has already replaced some of the tubes. The car only has 39k KM on it (confirmed with a japanese carfax report) and seems to have had regular maintenance and no crashes. Is this a bad sign?
Oooh, fancy electric windows. When I got my Every it had a bunch of strange gizmos I had to remove. A radar detector. Some extra wires from the middle dash insert and under the driver seat carpet. I large expensive passive solid state capacitor mounted to the battery terminals. I expect what you have is some sort of cell phone stuff. The new looking blue hose may be good. I didn't realize the turbos were EFI, so that should make things work better, probably less vacuum lines anyway. Hard to say if its a good or bad sign.
When looking at the engine bay, how did you quickly determine it was EFI? Is there an engine parts breakdown available? I've found a manual for the Carry/Every, but it doesnt seem to have anything specific on an engine breakdown.
Cause it looks like theres an injection manifold on it. Check out https://partsouq.com. Put in your chassis number and it will show you parts breakdown for your model van. I got this manual and it has the basics in it https://www.lulu.com/shop/james-dan...aperback/product-18n62mvd.html?q=suzuki+carry
