    Hi all,
I am not sure if I saw some info on this forum or another. In regards to currency exchange there was someone being reccomended to change Can$ into Yen as he offered better than bank rates. Going to Japan in 2 weeks for another couple of months and hate paying the crazy bank rates. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Ill bring ya back a souvenir.
    Thanks,
    Darcy

Advice from a retired bank manager:

I have used a firm called Custom House many times. They have a web page with the contact information. They use the larger banks for the clearing - you deposit into thier account at your bank and they will wire mony forward any where with out cost. For a cash transaction they provide draft or similar notes for travel. If you have a yen account somewhere they will wire to it.

If you like I can call you at the contact on your web site at provide more details.
