Clutch plate Torque

    Hey guys n gals I need some help with my 3G83 out of my u42t that I have rebuilt am attempting to install clutch but the Torque spec in the book for the "Drive Plate" which I take as as pressure plate says 6.7 kgfm which equates to 48.8 ft lbs and I have broken 2 bolts, am I using the incorrect torque spec? Thanks for all the help.

    Seems to me that you are torqueing to flywheel bolt specs. Way too much. Should be 23 N-m = 2.3 Kg-m = 6.5 FtLb. for the pressure plate bolts.

    The grade is stamped on the bolt head:
