Hey All new to mini trucks, i just picked up an 89 DD51T and the alternator was out and the price was out of my concept for a toy so after a trip to the local u pull it junk yard i found a direct fit alternator for $20 and new ones on line are around a $100 new. i spent countless hours searching forums and no one would just give a straight forward answer to a replacement. i'm all about saving money where i can so here yo go i will let the world know a Nissan 400-48026 is a direct fit just splice your white/red alt wire to the out post male connector on the back and hook up the original battery wire and you are done, that simple if you want the alt light on the dash to work wire both the male nipples on the alt together then hook to the white/red wire in the plug on the truck
