Carry starts, runs for a min or 2 than quits.

appreciate ideas. 1996 carry starts and runs for a minute or 2 during warm up but than quits. Pressing the accelerator pedal rapidly helps a little but quits. It's like the choke opens after warm up and the engine starves of fuel.

Ideas or recommendations of shops around Atlanta that can fix it would be appreciated.

Does it smoke. If not check coil. If yes you could be loosing compression
