Carburetor replacement

    Hey man, so I got the new carburetor and went to install it today. It didn’t
    hey man, so I bought the carb and installed it today. It wouldn’t idle. It would only run when I would feather the throttle just perfectly. Or have the choke all the way on which would make it rev up super high. Also, the hot(red) wire going to the distributor cap was sparking the whole time. Am I missing something? Is there something broken on my truck I don’t know about that’s causing it to not run? Or is it just me not setting the carb up right? What am I missing.

    sounds like the shut off solenoid may not be getting power

    Hey! I'm a noob with these trucks, but I did the same thing as in that video. My 93 s83p runs, but not very well. Starting is difficult, and even once it warms up, it runs rough and always wants to idle Hi, and if I try adjusting anything, it chokes out and dies
