Hi, does anyone know for sure if there is a size,flow,ect. difference between the 550 and 660 carbs on the ef engines or are the differences pretty much emissions changes and general updates? It looks like a 550 carb I have will fit my 660 and was wondering if horse power would suffer?
from what I've seen of the 2... the carbs appear pretty much identical....cfm is prob the same maybe different jetting...measuring the bores of each would prob answer that question...
I am now using a 550 carb on my 660 midget 2 and it runs fine. While I had them both out I compared and couldnt find anything different.
