I have a supercharged tw2 sambar with the amr 500 and am installing water/meth injection go cool down the intake charge as well as a smaller belt/pulley. This pulley is supposed to raise the boost to .88 bar. I’m trying to figure out what to do so that the extra boost doesn’t just go out the the boost control valve. My wife has a supercharged Subaru R2 and they make a kit for it utilizing an electronic boost controller and it’s basically the same engine and setup. How/where would I connect the boost controller?

Man, boost on these engines would be scary to me especially on the interference ones like my Suzuki has. Its cool to see whats possible and some of the creative solutions though.

I will say a better carb and free flowing exhaust woke my van up. It easily goes 65 mph on fairly level ground and can maintain 55-60 going up steep hills in 5th and can accelerate on the same hills in 4th. My compression dry is 95/95/185 and wet 185 on all cylinders, so the engine is a bit tired but still has lots of life left in it.

The majority of this discussion is around the Subaru Sambar which has a non-interference motor
