I'm having some issues with the carb so I decided to take it apart and clean it. Well in my haste I took it apart before looking at the book. In the float bowl there is a small ball bearing and a short brass rod that goes down in a hole in the bowl. I do have Jame Danko's book and it shows the ball bearing, rod and something else that goes on top of the rod and that "something else" is what I'm missing. Can anyone tell me what that something else is? washer? Spring? On page 74 of his book it shows the carb and the peices to it but it's only a line drawing and just looks like a round washer. post some pics of your carb, at least we can compare it on our carb. theres a lot of guys in here are willing to help.
