back about four years ago, before the longshoremens strike hit, there were several companies selling bed rail protector kits, basically a plastic U-channel, that slipped over the top rail on the bed to keep it from getting dinged up.

Does anyone know of a current source in North America?

They are an aftermarket accessory in Japan, so some trucks show up with them installed. They show up on the Japanese auction sites. I was hoping I could find a set in North America.

If I can’t find them, I will probably mask the area I want them in, and spray them on when I do the bed ,i we on the bottom of the bed.

Ordering stuff in from Japan is pretty easy for own stuff. Never tried aftermarket stuff but I would like to get a tarp for the box
