    Hi Gang,

Looks like my Carry will be getting a block heater before too long and will be doing a coolant change at the same time. Any pointers about bleed locations, how to prevent air lock and how best to get it back up and ready to run? Tried a search, but wasn't able to glean too much.

    Thanks :)

On my '95 the best way to drain it is to remove the lower rad. hose and flush it out real good. When filling jack the front end up as high as you can to get the red.,cap higher than the engine, loosen the bleeder on the thermostat housing and fill it slowly until coolant comes out of the bleeder, close the bleeder and fill it on up.Don't forget to fill the expansion reservoir, start it up and get it up to temp. and re check. On mine I always have to top it off a couple of times .
Be really careful loosening the bleeder on the thermo. as it is a drilled out tiny screw and easy to break.
