I thought if I bought one, I might as well look good while driving it...

The lowered Kei truck looks cool but all that plastic almost touching the ground will get ripped apart very quickly. But you knew that.

Three things will save you from that.
    1. Being careful.
    2. Air bags.
    3. Bodyshop. (hahaha)

It's all about style... and trucks are a bit of utility.

This truck was just the next progression.

I once had a thought to lower my mitsubishi van and put some daytons on it with the small white wall tires on it.

For my 2 cents, if you are using the van for work, even hauling a small load, do not lower it. I have had my share of S-10s, Chev 1/2 tons and VWs to know that when you lower a vehicle it either becomes a harsh ride rattling your teeth or the handling suffers due to the geomitry being too far out. That and potholes will eat your frame!

For the same look, just go +2 on the rim and -2 on the tire profile, this gives the illusion of lowering without all the hassels.

    yea i get your points
im a custom upholsterer so i dont carry a heavy load as such
    full interior at most
plus im used to riding low on all my vehicles and stock just wont do
    too much body roll!!
over here we have "sleeping police men" everywhere :frustration: so anything you drive is harsh. lol :)
