Just trying to get my "ducks in a row" and start a file on what the AZDOT will need for me to register my freshly imported (Has not arrived yet but this is a hypothetical) KEI Truck Do they need, for example, a Translated Japanese Title or other export stuff that needs translation. I will be registering it in the Phoenix Area. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Just read the letter and it seems like the MVD will follow this letter making mini truck registration more consistent. Yeah, they want all Mini Truck classified as an ATV. Then you Get the OHV Sticker and with a ADOT FORM filled out and signed stating the vehicle has been modified to meet all vehicle equipment and Safety requirements (Which since they were driven on the street in Japan have all the required equipment and safety stuff, you will be given a sticker for "Occasional street use". So as long as you stay off the freeway (who would want to drive that fast anyway in a mini truck. I'm good with that. Anybody know different???? Also, I read Arizona AAA has resumed MVD licensing and registration stuff so AAA will be my first stop for registering my mini truck

Sorry I JUST went through SM Motorcars and he did all my paperwork.

But yes, you register it as an ATV and you'll get TWO stickers plus your Mini license plate. Put BOTH Stickers on the plate.

State Farm is who I'm switching my insurance to and it was EASY to get it insured.

I'm 99th and Indian School, what part do you live in?

I'll get mine in May. Apparently its hard to find space on a ship heading to Port of Long Beach. If I remember, I'll let you know on this forum and you can drive over and compare out trucks - I've got a '99 Subaru Sambar; what did you get?

High Roof would have been nice; I'm 6' 1" but I more priority on an Inspection Grade of 4 - which is what I wanted

Yeah I'm 6'5... so it is well worth it.

  10. you are way off. Arizona doesnt require Kei trucks to be registered as ATV's! Just do the paperwork correctly and register it as a truck.

I was going by the infamous "MVD Office Memo" which says they will only register it as an ATV and you can get a sticker to drive on the street as long as the speed limit does not exceed 55 mph. So if anyone has additional information, please let us know
