Kmoneil, I figured that I'd ask you, since you've always been very help full! Educate me. Why all the advertising ad's on the forum? Yeah, we can complain, and answer the ad's few questions why we don't like them. Ad inappropriate, ad blocking content, Already seen this, or whatever, and then we see the same ad over and over! Can anything be done to reduce this, or possibly, eliminate this stuff? Thanks! Limestone
The ads pay for the band width and storage of the site. All free forums have them. Some forums. Have memberships you can buy, which cover the Costs, and paid members don’’t see the ads. And come on. Most of them are links to eye candy, “large cup swimsuits”, or humorous “largest Kenworth Truck Dealer” because it is a truck forum. The Ford Truck forum is a lot larger than we are, and their ads are pretty focused on which subgroup you’re in. 90% of the ads on the Bumpsides sub forum for the 67 to 72 bump-sided pickup parts.

The ADs pay for the hosting, and it's a break-even deal. I know most people are using ad blockers which blocks most of them. Thanks Jigs
