My driver's side door lock wouldn't engage and I had an awful knocking coming from behind the driver's seat. They both turned out to be caused by the door drooping. I lowered the locking mechanism in the door and fixed both problems. Hope this helps. UPDATE: I also wrapped duct tape around both door latch posts and all of the door rattling went away.
