What no review of the Acty tracked wonder to go with the pics? I made popcorn and everything op: Thanks for the action pics
The red tracked MOG out-climbed the 6x6! The 6 wheel Honda rides super smooth and has good power- I thought it was going to out climb the red one. But, no. I didnt have time to put some fatter tires on the front which I think will help. It did really well- it was the most fun to drive! The red MOG has more traction- you can put it in 4Lo 1st gear and just let it chug up the hills. The othe 'stock' Mitsubishi with the 550cc did surpisingly well, too! I havent really run an older 550cc before--- you cant tell it has a smaller engine. Climbed good too. Of course the miniMOGs get alot of attention wherever we take them. Everybody wants to check them out and see what they are. I have some vids- I'll post when I figure out how.
It would be killer if somehow a set of front tracks could be made to work on the Acty Getting the front/ rear tracks to turn the same amount per axle revolution would be the fun part. BTW Is that your little one in the last pic? Looks like there having a blast
I'm constantly amuzed by the thought of the original designers of these trucks seeing what folks over here are doing with them. I can see some honda/subaru/daihatsu/mitsubishi intranet chatter with "look what they're doing with our Kei trucks over in North America!!!"
Acer, I thought about contacting the orginal owner in Japan of my Sambar and sending him a few pics of what it looks like now. Probably give the guy a heart attack or leave him thinking were all crazy in NA
Great pics guys. I like the vehicle written REDLINE on that. what kind of vehicle is this? May i say Mini mini truck?
