Hit the button on the dash and icon doesn't even light up. Getting power to the switch. Don't know where to go next.
Start checking back at the vacuum switches, on the transfer case, and differentials. When you hit the switch, it should Energize the vacuum valves, and then teh vacuum pulls the transfer case, and axles in.
I have a diagram and when mine went out it was the set of VSv under the box by the airbox/starter. If I remember right the whole thing goes to ground through the VSV. So could be a ground issue also.
The front vacuum switching valves are located on the differential mount, and the rear VSVs are on a cross member above the rear axle. just follow the lines from the actuators. Each end has a pair, one to engage, and one to disengage.
