Hey all, First, thanks for all the help I’ve received from Kevin K. My new to me 96 Van with the EF-GS engine has a no start condition. Today I determined I have no spark, coil on plug with plug in touched to ground. Question: Those of you that have this 8th gen Hijet, does the yellow check engine come on when you key on and start? Mine does not. And per the translated EF-GS service manual, the diagnostic port short procedure for codes does nothing. I have no engine light as startup now. I have swapped bulbs and the bulb works. she was running ok separate from an overheating issue I’ve since corrected (I think) any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Kevin, it ended up being the 15 amp fuse for IGN at the bottom of the fuse box under the steering wheel. Hope this helps someone
