I bought this thing 4 months ago. And I don’t think I have to explain how much I love it!

    Work done so far:

    -oil/filter change
    -flushed coolant
    -water pump
    -cam seal
    -crank seal
    -timing belt
    -alternator belt
-new basset racing wheels ( I have a thread posted about the wheel/tire setup)

    Work to still be completed:

    -transmission mounts
    -engine mounts
    -cv boots
    -carb
    -vaccuum lines
    -oil pan gasket

These things are a ball, aren't they? I've owned mine since Oct '21.

Bought it in pieces, and spent a good deal of time just putting it together. For instance; the dash was in the seat, and the wiring loom was in the bed. Steering column in the floor on the passenger side.

I've learned a great deal about my Carry. I've put the dash in 3 times, it certainly doesn't scare me to pull it out again - which I'm going to have to do anyway; no headlights.

    I'll figure it out.

In the meantime, I'm driving it. At least, in the daytime.
