    Hi there

My S83 won’t start after I recently installed a eBay carburetor with manual choke
I followed the instruction video from MotoCheez on YouTube

    I already checked

    -strong sparks are there
    -new spark plugs
-spark plugs are wet after cranking the engine over
    -won’t start with starter fluid
    -carb is getting fuel
    - also cleaned the new carb and re installed it

I was wonder if it could be caused by vacuum lines or the timing?

It could be but you would think it would at least POP with starting fluid and even if your getting too
much fuel,(wet plugs-not burning), you should still get at least a trying to start pop or sputter.
So you say that your at least getting good spark? When you try to start did you try it with the air cleaner off?
Air/oxygen, Spark. Fuel! Is all you need.

Right that’s what I’m thought air spark and fuel should do it .
I don’t get any response even with starter fluid and air intake popped off
I’m not sure about the good spark anymore...I mean I see a ok looking spark if I hold the plug against ground.
I really don’t know what else to do

If your Spark isn't timed correctly and your carb keeps dumping fuel it's possible you'll experience the problems your having.
Have you checked your fuel pump flow and see if there's a problem there?
Several older post's with that being an issue.

    Gunny,
Let's try what my old Buddy Tim taught me years ago.
Disconnect the fuel to the carb by simply blocking the fuel feed with a temporary plug of some kind.
Bolt wooden dowel,etc...........whatever, not important. KISS(Keep it Simple S)!!!
Make sure your new plugs are DRY ans Re Cleaned! Spray some Either,(Start Fluid into the carb intake, and it might take more than a little!
Replacing your fuel with Starting Fluid, and your Air intake being what it is, and now your Spark WILL Ignite that Start fluid!
Eliminating a possible bad fuel source,(doubt full), Testing your Spark.
If it doesn't Fire or no Popping Your Spark isn't good enough!

Yea fuel flow is how it should be.
I’ll try the method with plugging the line and giving it pure Ether.
Also gonna check all grounds again and add some dielectric grease

    I’ll keep u posted
    Thanks so much so far
