Can someone tell me if I can take a 1978 Ford Pinto module with a 84 Toyota coil and make it work. If so can someone tell me how the wiring goes. Thanks

Just completed my conversion using a GM HEI ignitor.
    Very straight forward.

Make sure it's mounted to some sort of heat sink.

Another option I'm going to try with a spare distributor is installing the correct ignitor Mitsubishi J152.

i used one from Auto Zone and followed directions. Worked great! Drove up to 40 mph in 3rd gear. I hope to put new carb on and get 4th and 5th gear working. Love my Van

Awesome. The 4-5 liberation is next for me as well.
