i have a 1996 diahatsu the 4 wheel drive dont work. the light on the dash come on but it dont lock in. does any one know any thing about it. the guy i got it from put a new clutch in it and i think their might be a wire loose. but i dont know where to look. any help would be great. thanks
Not sure if this is the same thing, but I had one that just came in that the 4x4 didn't work, and I just yanked the shift lever back and forth a few times and it started working. I think the cable or lever was not engaging all the way.
