For sale is A nice 2007 Suzuki 4X4 DA63T K6A 26041km 16181 mi. I bought this truck about 3 years ago. I put about 3 or 4 thousand miles on this truck. I'm in Eastern KY. It was too nice a truck to take in the hills, so my wife used it to to go to the garden, which was bout 1/4 mile from home. I have never had any problems at all with it. All I have done is change oil. It is quite as a mouse. Runs smooth as it is Fuel Injected. When I got it I put a 2" lift on it and Bigger tires and Aluminum wheels. I also added A read bumper with A receiver hitch. and put Herculiner in the bed. Runs and drives like new. Original tires and wheels go with truck. Everything works as it should. has 2hi, 4hi,N,4L . Great heat, Great AC, Great PS. LIKE NEW. Feel free to ask any and all questions. This is A Cherry of A truck. I have taken very good care of it. If you would like, I can email u more pics. 606-272-0855 41472
question...I'm in Canada..and I am bringing in a 1994 Subaru sambar....hopefully when It arrives its in as good of shape as yours was... how did someone manage to get a 2007 mini truck in the US...did you ever register it?
Canuckmini67, probably not registered for on-road use (Worm can confirm). I'd love to be able to acquire one that new, but I think we're SOL up here. Here's hoping your Sambar is a peach when you get it. I picked up a '90 Carry that, though it probably needs a little attention for paint / early surficial rust, is in mechanically excellent shape. Turning heads all over
Hey Psycho Mike - so is this your first and only mini truck...who did you use for the mechanical out of province inspection? Any issues finding an insurer for a RHD?
Apologies to Worm for hijacking the thread...but at least the truck was sold first Yes, first and only (so far ). In my case, I was lucky....it was already out-of-province inspected and registered...and Canadian Tire did the complementary inspection my insurance requested because it was older than 15 years when I put new tires on it. If you call around, you can usually get shop rates and a cost for an out of province from most mechanic shops. Insurance was a bit more challenging, but not because it is RHD. My insurance company initially said the vehicle was a commercial vehicle and wouldn't quote me on it (they don't do commercial). So I got quotes from a few different brokers. A couple would only look at it for commercial insurance....but most, once they knew it was basically a mini pick-up truck, were quite ready to provide a quote. Intact was the fastest to pick-up on it (private vehicle from the get-go) and gave a pretty good quote (just about stole away all my business from my "usual" provider). I gave my "usual" company one last kick at it and the agent (who knew about these trucks) agreed 100% that it's not commercial (esp. when used for commuting to work)...they eventually looked after me right.
Canuck, not sure where you are, but I live in the Kootenays, and just had my 2000 Suzuki Safetied locally. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Sorry about the Hijack!
