So my 1999 honda ACTY front brake calipers are seized up. the part number on the caliper is 15CL12S. Of course impossible to find! Has anyone been able to match up another caliper that would work for this part #. I could reseal the existing caliper but still need new brake pads. If that is the case has anyone matched up a brake pad that works with this caliper. Thanks Mike
that is not a Honda part numbers, front caliper no. is 45019-SJ6-J01 Honda Acty Front Brake Caliper Assembly: LH HA3, HA4 https://yokohamamotors.net/product989.html http://jp-carparts.com/honda/partlist.php?maker=honda&type=ACTY STREET&cartype=31027&fig=B&fig1=2200 double check with your chassis number in the parts catalog Problem is at the moment, that there is no shipping from Japan to the US, see info from Japan Post Office : Temporary suspension of acceptance of various mail items destined to the United States https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/information/2020/0423_03_en.html brake pads https://minitrucktalk.com/threads/brakes.9505/
Thanks for the reply shogun. New to the mini truck stuff. Guess I should have included it is a HA7. Ideally - does anyone know of a caliper and bracket that match up or could be slightly altered to replace the orginal part #15CL12S that is obtainable in the USA. Thanks Mike
Mike, to make it easier for the future, add your car details in your signature similar to my signature, then it is much easier to help. I googled with that number 15CL12S Honda and this says also the Civic has the same: Disc-Brake Caliper front right side Honda Civic, 1995.10 - 2001.03 https://shop.euroimpex.lt/en/dalis/546150/disc-brake-caliper-front-right-side https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15cl12s-...ight-side-Honda-Civic-546150-41-/113806467721 Both sellers are from Lithuania, there are more in the google search, but these sellers are from Japan, which presently cannot ship to USA. Last month I ordered some parts for my old BMW from another seller in Lithuania and the shipping worked quite fast, arrived here in Japan within 5 days, so shipping from L worldwide seems to work in these days. Then I googled for: 15cl12s Disc-Brake Caliper Honda 15cl12s is the part number of the brake maker Nissin, here the details http://hondabeat.com.au/Parts/Replacement Parts.htm here some more details https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-...al-deconstruction-little-known-honda-2238661/ brake pads you can buy here as well as caliper repair kits http://www.honda-acty-parts.com/ https://minitruck.ca/mini-truck-parts/honda/acty-brakes
SO have an update on the brakes and calipers for this truck. Was able to do a lot of research and found that a 2015 Honda Pioneer 500 SXS utv is a perfect match for the brake pads. I was also able to get a caliper seal kit which also worked to rebuild the calipers I had. The calipers on this utv are also suppose to be a match also but I did not buy them so I can not verify the information. But they are also expensive so the rebuild was a better option. Hope this help future mini truckers!!! Mike
@MiniMike are you in Canada by any chance, I tried the dealer with the parts number and they don't have anything. I have a 1999 HA6 and where di you order your parts from ? I need rear break shoes too.
There are some shops in Canada which are specialized on Mini Truck parts, examples https://www.minitruck.ca/ http://rightdriveparts.com/honda/ http://jdmparts.ca/index.php?id_manufacturer=4&controller=manufacturer&id_lang=1 or try Yokohama motors in Japan http://www.yokohamamotors.com/
Well I was trying to cross-reference the acty with something that has the same breaks and I saw your comment about the 2015 Honda Pioneer 500 SXS utv and I called the dealer and they do not have any for it. did you actually order from those places or bought in Napa or lordco? the reason I ask is that I do not like to pay extra just because they know the right part number, I did the same with my Delica and saved tons of money instead of buying from jdmparts.ca and others
I live in Japan, the Honda dealer is in town and has to make service on Acty trucks every day, as most farmers here use the mini trucks. So I buy from the dealer or Japanese online shops. Check in the EPC with your chassis number the correct Honda part number and then google search with the p/n, maybe in your country there are online shops which have them, or you find the same p/n is also used on other Honda models,
I know this thread is old, but I just changed the front pads on my 1997 Acty HA4 and I can confirm that the Honda Pioneer pads are a perfect fit.
