anyone have some photos of what is going inside, perhaps a breakdown of dash dissassembly and the correction of the cable on vent mode selector? I shifted from dash to vents, an eon of crap blew out and obviously the cable is boogered. I'm told it's an "easy" thing and they all get it which is easy enough but going in blind is no fun.

Speak of the devil, I found a vid of the inside of the dash yesterday!

    Hope it helps!

bad ass! this will be useful. it's not a mission critical problem yet but it's going on the road soon and without AC if I want to clear the glass when starting out at dawn'o'clock I need dash heat.

Hey, found another vid about dash removal. This one is specific for HVAC removal.

So that video was very informative. I managed to get the flap selectors on the air box to open the windshield vent and that's what I need for now, once my schedule settles out I'll take it all apart and solve the problem.
