    Hi folks,
I just purchased a 1995 Domingo last week, other than having someone ding it already in a parking lot it's been great.
I'd like to put curtains in it for micro-camping as the bench seats fold down into a bed (sort of).
I've seen camperized Sambars online, particularly in South America I think, and some in Europe, with what appears to be factory curtains.

Anyone have a source for these?
Thought I'd search and ask prior to making something with velcro.

I have found a local source for someone who does window tinting, and will probably go that route but need to keep it legal.

My Domingo didn't have curtains either, just the empty tracks... so my girlfriend sewed me some. :D:D:D

If your van is missing sliders, check out RECMAR products. I think it's #7124 that fits.

Awesome, thanks, that saves me some time.
I don't have tracks or sliders so I'll email the Recmar people.
On that note, do your tracks go all the way "around" the back in a "U" shape?
Also did you manage to fit tracks and curtains on the sliding doors?

I'm going to go eyeball that now but imagine that would be a tight fit.
Looks like this site is Recmar's online purchase place and here's a vehicle application link.http://www.curtain-tracks.com/applications/vehicle-curtain-tracks

Have a look in my profile, there's some pics of the interior. The tracks on my van are in three sections: One on the back hatch door (above and below the window), one for the rear quarter windows (above and below), and one on the ceiling above the side doors.

However there are a few bends in the track, which makes things very tough for you. Bending curtain track takes specialized tools. Maybe you can find a curtain supply store that can help you out?

Are those rear seats factory OEM? I have never seen them before in a Sambar. I have always wanted a bed in the back and that is an awesome solution.

Good point, it's a 95 Domingo, I haven't seen enough to say whether they're in all the Domingos but they are a factory option.
Honestly though, you'll want an air mattress on top of the bench seats for sleeping in there, they don't fold bed flat.

(the 95 Domingo has the 1200cc Subaru Justy motor, so parts should be easier to get and there's a Justy site called "Dusty Justys" that should be a good source of info for the motor at least)

I take it the white van picture on your original post is not your van?

If you squint at that photo you can see the curtain tracks... notice the bends in them. Tricky to duplicate! You could try with RECMAR 32124 or 3292 track, but the shipping will just murder you. UPS to Canada sucks.

You might be better off using velcro or heavy-duty rare earth magnets to hold the curtains on. I would recommend heavy-duty magnets.

It's true, that photo was sent by the importer I purchased from prior to buying the Domingo.
That's a good idea for the rare earth magnets, I have some on the fridge that are difficult to remove, I think I got them from one of those kids science shops.

Anyway, the point may be moot as I'm selling the van, going to get a diesel.
