Well I peeled the vinyl off, did a bit of maintenance and clean up and I am now trying to get my van sold. I've had a bunch of interest in my area but no one seems to understand its a slow moving / non highway vehicle. Was thinking about posting on BAT but I cant seem to bring myself to do it.

$6500. Definitely one the best priced and best maintained Bravo you will find in the states.

1995 Mitsubishi Bravo AWD U44V Chassis Super Exceed with Aero Roof
    --------- -
    Titled and Registered in Montana.
    ---------- -
3 speed auto transmission with all wheel drive
    - 96,XXX KM / about 60,000 miles
    - 4A30 Engine - Fuel Injected
    - Air conditioning blows cold. Front and rear heat.
    - Power steering
    - Power windows and locks
    - Power sunroof and sliding glass roof
    - Rides pretty nice, no clunks or suspension issues
    - Great undercarriage condition
    - Runs and shifts good
    - Interior is in good shape
    ------------
    Maintenance done :
    - Timing belt, idler, tensioner, thermostat and water pump
    - CV's re-booted
    - Front and rear differential, transfer case, and transmission fluids flushed a few times
    - Plenty of oil and filter changes
    - New air filter
    - New spark plugs and wires
    - New fuel filter
    - New sway bar links and cushions
    - Coolant flushed
    - New muffler
    - Accessory belts + idlers replaced
    - US radio and new speakers -
----------- Have some extra parts on hand :
    - Summer tires installed. Studded snow tires on rims . Both in good condition
    - Front brake pads, rotors, and bearings
    - Rear brake shoes
    - Heavy duty custom cover
    ---------

    Issues worth noting :
    - Very small oil leak from valve cover gasket. I have the OEM gasket, its a pretty easy job if you decide to replace it.
    - AT Temp light comes on sometimes. The fluid is not getting too hot, the light circuit is the problem - Small crack in lower front bumper
    > Rear decal is on vinyl and can be easily peeled off it you don't like it

Nice van! BAT is always an option. I bought my van there. I've been through several buys/sells there and it has its pros and cons .... but it will sell. Lately I've noticed that they try hard to get sellers to agree to list it for No Reserve. It looks like only six Bravos have been listed in the last few years, so it's rare compared to things like the Acty that you see more often. Cars and Bids is an option too.

Yeah it seems like the no reserve is the way to go and generates more interest.... Hmm shoot, IDK, maybe I should consider going with BAT but then Im not sure how to coordinate shipping and all of that.

I got to imagine someone in my neck of the woods will see this rig and want it but even at the current price interest is low around here . Lots of highways and wide open spaces so hard to justify a Kei unless you have some back roads / in town driving

Looks ally good without the wrap. That price is a steal with all the maintenance you have in it. I could see someone buying it just to get the roof glass! GLWS!

Will you get another Kei after this is gone?

Right? I'd like to get more out of the sale but I'm also a fair guy and know how much I paid for it so it'll be nice to let someone else get into the kei world without spending 10k

Dude, I already hate the idea of selling this and would definitely like to get another at some point. Something with Hi-Low range and a 5 speed would be sick, like those Pajero Minis. ...I've got another 5 cars in the driveway and some other toys, so trying to thin the herd a bit....

Did you see this one on BAT? You could be leaving $$$ on the table

Hmmm shit, I may need to look into this more. I don't get how people buy these sight unseen and then figure out transport.

So what would you suggest, list it with a reserve at my current list price and see how high it could go?

I gotta get more pictures of the undercarriage as well

OK the top suggestion I keep getting is to list it on BAT so that's what's going to happen. Just sent in the submission to see if they accept it, not sure how this process works but will be fun to see.

One plus for you: shipping is on the buyer. You can certainly assist if you want. When I bought my van on there, the seller was about 10 hrs drive away. BAT offered a price to ship, but the seller also had a guy and I ended up using him instead. Plus there's the shippers I've used in the past. BAT also has a new 3rd party service for all the paperwork. I just used it for the first time and everything worked out. In addition to processing the title/reg/plates etc for the buyer, they also handle your seller money through a wire and hold it in escrow until the buyer has the van, which is also helpful.

I would do just you said: list with no reserve. In my experience, BAT will ask you to list with no reserve. That way it's gonna sell and they get their commission. Or if you insist on a reserve, they want it low and might argue with you. There's a few basic you can do when selling: take tons of good pics, have a good driving video -- and maybe a walk-around and cold-start video -- and be around during the auction to answer questions. And like most BAT auctions ..... all the action happens in the last hour.

All good info, thanks for sharing.

On a more sad note, BAT told me I am not worthy of listing lol straight up denied me... maybe lack of pics or just quality of vehicle....oh well, back to driving around town with a for sale sign

Its probably the pics, if they are the same as on here. You need to pretty that pig up and then get it to a nice location and have lots of really good pics.

I agree, they pretty much just said it wasn't the right vehicle for them at this time. She needs a good wash and photos taken like you said ... Oh well, back to local listing for now no big deal....

Ah fuck, so many cool rigs to drool over. I need to get off bat website before I get tempted and start bidding on shit.....Wife might leave me if I get another one lol

I would resubmit with your maintence list, more pictures and the nature of your relationship to it (how you care for it and take care of it). They just didn’t see it is the type of vehicle they want. Also, they won’t do a reserve on a Kei vehicle.

Not worth it. Stay the course.

Price knocked down again, motivated to sell
Yeah, I don't think its a good fit for BAT. Its not showroom pretty and unless I go no reserve it just doesn't seem worth it.

My location doesn't seem to be helping with the sale, lots of big open highway roads and most people need more speed.

I dropped it down to $6200
