1995 carry

    I have a problem with over heating the hoses that run to carb are suppose to be hot when warmed up mine were cold but truck didn't overheat so I drained antifreeze and made sure lines were clear filled it back up hoses get hot when warmed up but now it over heats I tried to burp rad. but it still shoots antifreeze out the radiator do I have a problem with thermostat ? or do I need to burp it more ? ?also is there any mini truck shops in the lansing mich. area.

    Sounds like you need to burp it more. When you fill the rad. jack the truck up so the rad cap is the highest point in the system,also there is a bleeder on top of the thermostat housing but be careful with it because it is very thin and if corroded will break easily.If you do loosen the bleeder,take it out and clean the air passage with a small piece of wire as they plug up.
