I'm running 155/80/13 street tire right now. Any ideas about whether or not 165/80r13 Forceum MT-08+ will fit on the stock suspension.

I’m running 175/70/13 with a 1” spacer right now and I get some rubbing on hard bumps, hard turns. Stock ride height. I’m guessing if I put a second person in cab it will rub more.
I need to swap my 150/70/13 from my steelies over to my VX wheels and I won’t have any issues.
My 175/70/13 are 22.6” high, 150/80/13 are 22.4” high. Might still be an issue for you.
My 150/70/13 are 21.3” high which is only .2” higher than stock, keeps power the same.

As I'm revisiting this post I realized what you said. So VX wheels fit without mods? I had a '92 VX, they look great on your truck.

Well I do have to use a spacer, I'm using a 1" (could probably use a 3/4) to keep the tire and wheel off of the strut. Going from a 12 x 3.5 steel wheel to 13 x 5, will cause some rubbing on the strut without a spacer. No other modifications though. Factory ride height.

Oh yeah, you did mention the spacer. Thanks again for the ideas.
