1990 supercharged starting issue and distributor cap

    Hi
    I'm hoping you can assist.

    I have a 1990 sambar supercharged.

If it's left for more than a day or so it will only start with a "bump start". It will not start using the starter motor.
Once you start it once with the bump start method it will then start immediately using the starter motor without issue until it's left parked for 2-3 days.

I've checked all the usual suspects and all seems ok.

Any idea what would be causing this?

I ordered a new ignition set to try and rule that out.
    New plugs, HT leads etc.
But I'm having trouble finding a Distributor cap and arm. I've brought 1 off eBay (given the seller the vin number) but they sent the wrong one.

The one I have is on the right of the picture, the one that arrived is on the left of the picture.

Id appreciate any advise on the correct distributor cap and what may be causing the starting issue.
