So I've got a 1990 Sambar with the Supercharger that'll be here... eventually.
Looking to get a head start with some tuneup parts, but there are one or two details that I'm unclear about.

I know the early supercharged sambars like mine used the angled distributor cap like this (Which is no longer available)

And the RC-FE38 spark plug wires

Now, I believe I can use the newer SC distributor cap

But would that mean I would also need the newer style spark plug wires?
    RC-FE37

Thanks in advance for the help, I've been wanting one of these and following this forum for years now and I am so excited to get started.

Yes, you can use the straight style cap along with the straight style wires. The distributor base and rotors are identical between them. Only the 1990 and very early 1991 models had that angled cap, and Subaru as superseded the part with the straight late 1991-1998 version.

The RC-FE37 wires can be purchased from Amazon for less than Yokohama is charging as well: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B0086T3BIK/
