I just bought a 1989 Daihatsu Hijet S81p and took it for its first road tip into town to get groceries and the timing belt went out.. I'm looking online for a new timing belt and all I can find is on ebay for $55.00. Is there anyone who knows the part # or specs of the belt so I can possibly fond one cheaper or is over priced ebay my only option?
I forgot to mention that when I took the casing off the timing belt came off in pieces so I was not able to measure it or count the teeth.
