what rpm do you have @ 55 mph?
If your going to drive 55 or more you need the 5 speed
they really need the 5 speed trans tho.

Usually you can find a fuse or just hot wire the + side of the coil but Im not sure on the electronic ignition. Make sure key is on.
check to see if coil is getting voltage and if other side is making and breaking as it turns over.
