Its comming along well. I've been holding out some of the progress in the build thread. I have a place to ride and camp a couple of hours away out near Cookville/Center Hill lake area. Might be a good halfway point between you and I. About 3-4 Miles of trails at my parents place plus some 3+ more nearby down some of the backroads in both directions. Usually about 10 quads to go with it and alot of crazy drunk people. I'm thinking Labor Day weekend if I get er done in time.

Looks good. Here's my suggestion. It looks like you have two crossmembers, one front and one rear of the engine. Delete the rear transmission cross and find a way to hang the tranny from the top. Then instead of lowering the engine cross member the same as the suspension try lowering it less or not at all and angling it down in the rear. Your driveshaft angles won't be perfect but if your using it off-road it will be fine. I had about 15-18 inches of clearance under mine (the transfer case was the lowest) with this setup. Obviously there is nothing that can be done about the lower control arms except for bigger rubber (I think I had like 6" of clearance at the lower ball joint).

Post up some pictures. Where exactly are you having problems with ground clearance? Lower control arms?

We might need to do a "Fun Run" when I get mine done. From the looks of your album, you do the kind of wheeling I like.

Its coming.........Did you lower the engine too? Instead you may want to think about angling the engine/trans by dropping the tail shaft to correct for driveshaft bind while still providing extra ground clearance. Just adding 1 1/2" of spacers to the rear tranny mount on mine made all the difference in the world with 5" of lift.

The coil over spring work great in the front. Sorry to hear about the broke axle, I believe the passenger side is gone on mine also. If you have trouble finding a new one, try searching for companys that make custom axles online, alot of them guarantee them not to break or they replace it for free. Good luck! Was it a rear axle?

the stack is working out fine, no heat in the cab at all. the pipe goes from the cat all the way back to a muffler over the rear end and then forward again to the stack, it really doesn't get that warm on the pipe at all and carries no heat inside. i plan on putting a snorkel on the RH side too, just haven't gotten around to it yet... then i can do just what you are doing in the picture up there :D
