    Hello everyone!

I recently picked up a Hijet S80lp. It was running pretty ruff and I started poking around. When I drained the oil i found a lot of gas mixed with the oil.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing gas to find its way to the oil?

    Thanks in advance!

I suspect a gummed-up carb float needle letting too much gas into the engine.

Did it sit for a while before you got it? Old gas, dirty tank...?

If so might get by with a good cleaning of the fuel system.

You could also check if an intake valve is too tight, not letting it close all the way.

I'll check out the carb float and the valves. I just finished cleaning out the tank and replacing the gas. This bad boy been sitting a while so it just needs some love! Thanks guys!

I had this issue on my S83p HiJet. Turned out to be that the fuel pump was going bad and the gas was running down into the engine through the manifold.
