Find the beeper and unplug it.

Thanks Captain Obvious but I don't see my 57 year old wife on her head while I'm driving 55 mph down the road. I was hoping to skip the search part

With replies like that you're gonna be lookin' at her ass up, why didn't you just ask where it is?

The beeper, not her bottom... unless you're too dense to find either one.

I'm sure I'll find both. Thanks for taking time away from your inflatable date to share your knowledge.

Good pics, Ronin. How was the Taifun in your area? My truck was in action again after the Taifun passed here in Ibaraki area, brought 2 truck loads of tree branches etc to the collection place, incl. 2 tree with roots.
Maybe your area even got hit harder when I look at the warning map http://www.jma.go.jp/en/warn/

This last one...? Nuttin' much, just about 21mm of heavy rain, yesterday afternoon. Sunny and drying out today. Sounds like you got it worse than we did.

Here in Shinshu we are sheltered by the mountains so high winds are a rarity, iirc over the past 20~some years there's only been a two or three storms that caught us hard enough to cause any real wind damage.

It's the big rainfall and associated landslides and washouts we have to watch out for.

Better pump up your water wings for this one, looks like we're gonna get Real Wet.

Is this the beeper and will simply removing the ground be good enough?

    Thank you,
    Jared.

My 98 Acty truck does not have that speed beeper, but what you circled in the beeper, so just remove the ground and see what happens.

My 1992 Acty van makes no noises. I can leave the headlights on with the engine off and the key in the ignition or top out at about 110kph and no buzzers or warning lights ever come on. Maybe mine never had them? Or whoever owned the van before I did did me a favor by disconnecting them before they sold it to auction and it was imported to the U.S.

My beeper works in reverse, but not when on top speed, not when lights are on, but always when ignition is off and key still in ignition and I open the driver side door, then it starts beeping as a reminder that the key is still in ignition.
