Hey guys and girls... My name is mike. I run Subietech headquarters in Bend, Oregon. A all Subaru performance shop specializing in Subaru Engine/Transmission swaps. I recently picked up a 1989 Subaru Sambar KT6 EK23 3 valve 4sp with AWD low. I'm Hooked! As soon as I got it, I took it on a 100 mile over night camping trip through the Forest service roads here in Bend and Camped on a queen size air mat in the back. It was epic to say the least. Now I use it mainly as my daily driver and advertisement for my shop. I am working on a custom set of coilovers for it and fabing up a roll bar with adjustable torsion bars for the truck bed. Im trying to pay homage to the Japanese KEI racing car clubs and companies like GTCP. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself, say hello and say thanks for all the useful information on the site!
