DEAD STARTER! NEED NEW ASAP

Discussion in 'Wanted' started by Old Ironsights, Feb 17, 2016.

  1. The Starter on my 94 SP110 HiJet is dead.

Is there any parts crossover from other US Sold JapStock that will work? (I read something about the starter from a Suzuki Swift working on some units...)

    $271-$300 + Core, Internet $$$ for a Starter seems a little off...

  2. Have you checked with local electrical rebuilder. Might be cheaper.

take the model and serial number and try it on ebay and amazon. I found one for my 1990 Carry and it was fairly cheap. I can't remember the source offhand, but it was in the States, and came pretty quickly too

  6. Thanks all. I was able to get mine rebuilt.

I have no idea how long a rebuild lasts, so... Still going to try to get the best price on a replacement.

Also trying to find a front handbrake cable, but...
