My guess is if the dia. is right should work. Most likely will have a nice tone to it. If you do it let us know.

Our exhaust does not need backpressure, (manifold outlets are not big enough to worry about keeping some) bigger is better, cat needs to go, 1 1/4" restrictor,

I have 2" right from the manifold, and NO cat cu'z I ripped it off ;)

    Just my opinion though.

PS, I also haveK&N with micro-mess bag right on the carb inlet.

  6. Spaner, can you give me the K&N filter number you used? Also, any additional pieces you used to connect to the air intake... thanx.

Everyting in the supercharger build thread...somewere in dare.
I will search for the part #s but on a peice of cardboard in a box somewhere after I moved...don't know.

    K&N I have,
The direct carb lip mounted washable filter with micro mesh bag.
    AND crank case remote breather.

Vacumme line from the right side manifold to OEM air filter, it's plugged (or vacumme gauge direct, like me)
No OEM filter box, no hot air transfer box, no vac line...VAC-LINE man-to-airbox-to-hotairtrans. Just pull it, plug it.
EGR VAC line from carb to egr, cut the line in two, plug both ends.
    2" exhaust, no cat.
#6 plugs gapped to 26 for power.
50/50 coolant disapates heat and higher boil point, does both better than, say water.

    That should get you started.

  8. Thanx Spaner... hope you find the K&N part #

I will but, it's in the SC thread for sure,

Don't go all crazy or such though. I see that others are. Calm down. Have a little patients guys. Great mods take time, and I've done a few. I'f you'd like those numbers, then search for them, or wait a little and I'll get e'm for you...

    After....
