My 1991 Acty is also running rich no matter what I do.

Sometimes on the highway is has a hesitation as well, last time it had hesitations the ignition coil died... replaced with $20 one from the scrap yard... then a brand new one later on after the used one died.

Hopefully you figure this out... I'd much appreciate it.

I just bought a can of Seafoam to try and band-aid fix my truck into running a little better, it sat a lot this winter.

Sorry for the delay in replying... it appears that either my timing was ever so slightly off or at a slight tilt when I tightened the
distributor down causing it to be fairly rich. You could hear it popping slightly at idle, then smoothed out when I moved it
    a hair. Check it out!

Also, I have had a oil leak spring up out of seemingly nowhere that I couldn't figure out for the life of me. Took the distro cap off
and low and behold it's leaking like a sieve. The 2 o-rings that need replacing are a standard 37.7mmx3.5mm, if anyone is trying to
track that info down. Will be replacing them tonight, I'll take pics and post up soon.

Alright, I fixed the oil leak by replacing the O-rings on the aluminum piece that couples the distributor to the engine block.
    Here's what the new O-rings looked like compared to the old one's;

And here's what it looks like in the block with the distributor off. Be careful pulling it off as it's made of soft aluminum and
jawed tools like pliers will gouge and scrape the hell out of it if you're not careful. Just work it out a little at a time until it pops.

    Voila, no more leak!

After I fixed the oil leak by replacing the O-rings under the distributor, it ran happily for 3 days or so. Then
when I got into it to start it up today, it would barely start, had a massive lopey idle (like a 454 would) and if I touched
the gas it would die immediately. Smelled heavy of fuel after a few cranks.

My guess is something electrical, but figured I'd drop it by here to see what you folks have to say before I start diagnosing over the next few days.

OK, I've got no spark on cylinder 1. I checked the spark plug on a different wire and it fires no problem, also
swapped wires around to test for spark and nothing on number 1. What can go wrong in the distributor for
ONLY cylinder 1 to not fire correctly?

Turned out one of the new o-rings had slipped/been pushed off one end when I re-installed the distributor. There was a pool of oil in the
bottom of the distro cap right where cylinder wire #1 contact fires. Make sure to push it on mostly straight, I guess I was just in a hurry and
tightened one side mostly up before starting the other.
