I can't get a pic to upload, but I'm looking at a new ice fishing rig. I've just picked it up, no idea on engine size, but it sounds like a turbo. 4x4, 5 speed, right hand drive, lift kit, knobby ATV tires. As far as I can tell everything works as it should, including the twin cosmic sun roof. I do have a suspension issue on the front right, clunks when I hit a bump. Guessing strut? Any common problems I need to look out for?
Struts on Hijets are an ongoing problem. Even new OEM struts are weak. I am in the process of ordering aftermarket struts from G&R Imports. They have designed and contracted to have these (better and heaver) struts made for them. They are also 1/2 the price of the OEM struts. By the way 1/2 price is still kinda high but I'm glad to have the choice.
