so you guys think its a write off? didnt push into the engine but the rad, supports, bumper, hood, grille, both headlights, both front fenders and bumper mounts are visibly damaged.

I find out tomorrow if its fixable or not. not sure i want it to be...

tough to say if they'll write it off or not..looks like it could go either way..I drove my Volvo home and to the body shop the next day, after clearing a swath through the forest..it was written off. If you have a choice in body-shops take it to the best one you can find so if it is fixed it will be done right,if you don't want it repaired (understandable) they will have a higher estimate and a better chance of write off...glad you weren't badly hurt

i bet they will say thats its 7000-8500 to fix. But it's a 2007 so they should fix her.

im just worried about that pic where its a dead on front view. the frame and everything is off to the left in the picture.. im afraid the frame is fubared!

Im dong better now. still got the burn mark on my wrist area. i can hold stuff in that hand now without dropping it. whiplash is going away slowly. no where near as painful as people say it is. just more "stiff" feeling then anything and slow to moving. just hoping i didnt hurt something inside like a rib etc.

I find out today what the verdict is. just trying to find all my receipts to show them.

Glad you didn't get hurt too bad. Someone made a illegal left turn in front of me in 1993 and I didn't have airbags. Broke my left wrist, left little finger and shattered my right knee cap.
I think they'll be able to fix you truck

    Accident

    Stuff,

Glad you walked away, always good to be virtical. Make sure you are checked out by a doctor!

We were sandwiched in May,the suzy between two full sized pickups, and I am finding out that long term damage from an accident can be devistating.

Just Check with your doc to make sure as you said major whiplash.

    Feel better soon.

well its wednesday now, im still stiff but not sore. finding that squeezing things or lifting heavy things with my left hand still hard to do. I still have the mark on my wrist from the burn.. doesnt seem to be going away...

well as for the assessment yesterday, over 6,000$ damage so it is right on the borderline of being written off or fixed.

so far the other guy hasnt gone in to do his claim yet.. so still no deductible wave and no rental car/truck...

Guess I never finished up this thread.

SGI was idiots and decided to fix it. they valued the truck at 11k. they put about 20k+ into it. I had to take it back no less then 9 times and have it inspected several times and Audited...

I promptly traded it in and got a new 2012 F150
