Well, got the above mentioned oil change and front lift install done. Funny, the exactly 1" spacers on top of the struts seemed to have lifted the truck a lot more than 1".... I'll run it around and hopefully things will settle.

Because the struts are not on the END of the A arms.
    I don't know the terminology,
but you have a lever and a fulcrum of a specified height, you can raise the load a certain distance ,
a taller fulcrum will will move the load a greater distance than the increased length of the fulcrum.

If that makes any sense to anyone else.

I was going to say the same thing. Thats why my 3 1/2" lift gave me a bit over 4 inches

    I fixed my front mud-flaps...
When riding in the bush, my rigid fiber-glass mud flaps got damaged . To fix the problem, i cut them, and i
Instal a flexible rubber flap. I used atv type plastic push pin to fix the rubber flap to the original flaps.
I now have a better protection against rocks and mud throwned by the tires, and they are very flexible.
I did a lot of rughf terrain they work very well.
Il try to insert pictures.... View attachment 12959 View attachment 12959 View attachment 12960 View attachment 12960 View attachment 12961

God when I started this thread I would have never thought it would get this huge!

    Anyway, that's good to see.

So...What did I do to my truck today?.....I sold it.........But don't worry, I bought another one.

It's coming across and up from Massachusetts tomorrow on a low bed, all the way to Seattle, then on to another low bed to Vancouver. Where I will meet up with it and drive it up to it's new home here on the Sunshine Coast in BC.

Poor thing will be traveling many, many miles.

    SO excited !

Don't forget about the advantages of a remote URL. Is it hosted here? Or there? (to check-mark, or not)

    Here is a SMALL .jpg...

    db061080ac9c4133315cccb8df12bd5a.jpg

    Here is a LARGE .jpg...
    track-Mavs.jpg

Now, ref them locally, via the MTT site...

    A triple hosting example,
URL, ref the site to here, then ref here for the post,
Then you get the raw data, the actual size,
Now, these pics live here, on this site. A Google/Bing search would produce a return to both the original hosting site, and now here as well; "Minitrucktalk" now "hosts" these pics, forever.:sly:

AND, don't forget about .gif...cu'z they are way cool,

    A SMALL .jif...

    (see bottom "[IMG] Attached Thumbnails")

    And a LARGE .jif...

Local ref now, and raw data,

This MASSIVE .jif cannot be ref'd locally, as it is too big for the site.

    understand?

Not showing-off really, you do this 500 times, it's all the same shite, dif pile...

    mini tutorial

That, is an example, of an entire post, that is "hosted" on this site.

For most people, because we have advertising here, you will see both posts "squeezed" to the left side of your screen, with advertising along the right side. (large pics will not "fill" your screen) but are "resized" anyway to fit-in the advertising...:frustration:

If you have a "good" blocker, like ABP (ad-block-plus), then the right side will just appear to be a blank white margin.

If you have the "good-surfing-stuff", then the second post will fill the entire screen (left-to-right), and you will see the full sized .jpg(s) as well as the .gif(s).

    The lesson to learn,
what you see, or what you post, is NOT what others see.

Depends on the site, your system (ad blockers) AND, what has been authorized as "paying-ad-systems".

    ???

    SURPRISE...:p

(full blockage, go post, go advanced-post...scroll down to previous posts...no ad encoding source code)

Yea, sometimes; posts via the "green fairy" whilst tossing back "black dogs", mostly though, I tend to post too much information into one post, then, if someone posts a "Hunn?"; combined with a brain-fart, I tend to just roll-over-stupid, :sly:

Not going to explain the shite twice...:p

They can figure it out, if they really wanted to...

I'm sorry to tell you this.........I'm mechanical in nature. If it's nuts n bolts cutting and welding making something out of nothing or making something someone else made better I'm good. Do quite well in fact. BUT....... When it comes to all those three letter gif. Tif.........I'm lost. Half the time I can't figure out my phone. I grab my big hammer named Thor and fix it......hahaha. might be able to get one of my kids to decipher all that for me.

I agree with moose, anything mechanical is or soon becomes intuitive but these damn computers there is nothing intuitive about them.Every time I try to post a pic I have to get the wife or one of the grandkids to help me. And trying to do this animation stuff?Forget it! I would end up throwing the whole computer through the window.
I guess it's a generational thing or something because the grandkids just take to it naturally.

I dissagree, everybody started somewhere, generational my ass,

At one point in time, I didn't know how to wipe my ass, now I'm really really good at it.

    The same thing applies here.

Start a new thread with a specific question related to thread posts, links, or pics, and I'll try to help out.

I'm pretty good at that ass wiping too but that is like nuts & bolts..pretty intuitive after minimal instruction..I prefer that John Wayne tp,rough and tough and don't take any shite off any one,but I look at computers like I do light bulbs.Flip the switch and it works ,or change the damn bulb, no chasing it's tail updating itself and a gazillion tiny un decipherable icons that are supposed to mean something.I'm probably just too lazy to spend the time and endure the frustration of it. With that said I really appreciate guys like you that can figure it out and make it work.

That's not the case at all Jim,
It about rolling over, or going on the attack; period.
You're currently in a state that we like to call "resignation".
Snap the frack out of it. (Can't post ****)

Me, I'm on the attack; always. Round and round, circle attack, circle attack.
Attack it, kill it, then smile about it. The day you can't do that...it's over.

Take this example of "Email-Tags". I've gotten to the point of being really really pissed off about something so simple. Email tags. The shite you get at the end of emails that make people's shite seem like it's all that, and a bag of chips..he, he...(Can't post ****)

Laughing, cu'z you'll know when you read it.
So, I've come up with my own Email tag. Personal, business...it gets tagged to everything. (cu'z email is a joke, crib note, piss paper)
My biggest smiles comes from tagging it to my "Hydro" or "Gas" respodent emails...

    Hahahaha. Right on. Spaner

I tend to get confused and soon after.........angry. .....I think bit all comes down to three things.......
    how bad ya want it
What are you willing to do to get it
How long are you willing to go without it

Every decision I make is based off those 3 questions or variances of them. Apparently my answers are

    Not bad enough
    Not enough
    Forever

Because no matter what I do I end up missing up the computer while trying to teach myself how to do anything more than click the button hahaha
